Rooted in the study of traditional Moorish/Mudejar architectural characteristics in the southern Iberian Peninsula. Unique elements — the hypostyle space of the Cordoba Mosque, the Mukarnas dome of the Alhambra, and 45-degree angles in Moorish decoration — are extracted as DNA prototypes and recombined into a new tradition-based spatial form.
